On 15 June 2026, Devenny Payne stepped forward as 360 ONE.

When the practice was founded in March 2007, the brief was simple: be the kind of accountant that business owners reach out to when they are thinking about their next move, their next structure, and their next stage of growth. But also, be the sage and confidant that is there when things don’t go to plan.
That philosophy has shaped everything from the beginning. The kinds of clients we were naturally working with. The way the team approached every engagement. The decision, years later, to build a full suite of business advisory services spanning Melbourne and well beyond, covering wealth management, bookkeeping, estate and succession planning alongside the core accounting and tax work.
Over the years our team has grown and continues to grow, initially team members were based locally in Bacchus Marsh, then also in wider Melbourne and now today expanding out across the world.
Our client relationships deepened, in some cases individuals that came to us to setup as a sole trader, grew alongside us and over time expanded into multi entity family structures. Some business owners who came to the practice in its early years, have watched their children become clients in their own right. That’s really special, and we’re proud to have that trust.
Our practice had, in every meaningful sense, already become something far greater than the original name suggested. So a seed was planted, to rebrand from Devenny Payne into a modern, bright and relatable brand that represented our leaders and our business now, as well as into the future.

While the term was coined by our Founding Partner James Devenny, everyone at 360 ONE embraces and applies the 1% way, and it means something different to everyone who adopts it.

The 360 ONE logo honours our heritage whilst embodying a modern connection. We wanted the design to feel approachable, in a way that represents our integrated service model and the seamless experience clients receive when working with the team.
The circular icon is a symbolic combination of the individual steps that make up the 1% Way philosophy. As the segments progress around the circle, they get progressively wider, visually representing increasing wealth and success through consistent incremental improvements.
Each step builds on the last, demonstrating how small, deliberate actions compound into meaningful long term results.
The 360 service delivery element is represented in the fact the icon itself is a complete circle, made up of these incremental parts. This reinforces our holistic approach, covering every angle of financial, tax, and advisory needs.

The visual language is built from the foundational elements of the name: circles + lines, zero + one, degree + percent. These geometric forms are not just decorative. They are conceptual building blocks that connect directly to the brand philosophy.

Zero and one are binary. Fundamental, black and white, connected at the most basic level.
They are the building blocks of everything in the digital age, representing simplicity and clarity at the foundation of complexity.
This binary foundation reflects our approach of clear, fundamental principles (solid tax and accounting foundations) that enable sophisticated outcomes (wealth strategy and business growth). It is the grounding that makes everything else possible.
Circles: Completeness
Circles are connected to the ° symbol in 360°, representing our holistic service approach that covers every angle.
The circle also appears in the percentage sign, linking comprehensive coverage to measurable outcomes.
Fundamentally, circles represent completeness, the full view, the integrated solution, the seamless experience where all service elements work together rather than operate in isolation.
Lines: Incremental Progress
Lines form the individual increments of the 1% Way. They symbolise each deliberate step, each small improvement, each strategic decision that compounds over time.
A line balances the % symbol, creating a visual connection between methodology (the 1%) and outcome (percentage growth).
Lines can be arranged to form + and = signs all positively connected to growth, addition, and results that add up to something meaningful.
When repeated, lines create a domino effect, a visual metaphor for how one good decision triggers the next, how small actions cascade into significant outcomes, and how consistent progress builds momentum.

The domino element draws directly from the binary foundation of the brand, circles and lines, zero and one. The rectangular form of each tile echoes the line elements of the brand system, while the falling sequence captures the forward motion that defines the 1% mindset.
The Plus: The Connector
The + symbol is one of the most deliberately chosen elements in the 360 ONE brand system. Two lines connected. Universally understood to mean more.
