Supporting the Cancer Council at Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea
This morning our team came together for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raising funds for the vital work of the Cancer Council. The kettle was on, the table was full of homemade treats, and the office was filled with the kind of warmth that comes from doing something good together.
Cancer touches so many lives. Most of us can name someone we love who has faced it. That is exactly why mornings like this one matter to us, and why we are proud to support the research, prevention programs, and services that help people and families through some of their hardest days.
Why giving back sits at the heart of what we do
We have always believed that a practice is part of the community it serves, not separate from it. Since 2007 we have grown up alongside the families and businesses of Bacchus Marsh and well beyond, and that connection shapes how we show up. We celebrate the wins of the people around us, and we step in to support them when times are tough. Getting involved in causes like the Cancer Council is a natural extension of that same care.
Family sits at the centre of everything here. Our team, our clients, and the wider community are all part of the same story, and looking after one another is simply how we like to operate. When there is a chance to come together for a cause that matters, our team is the first to put their hand up, roll up their sleeves, and get the baking trays out.
Small actions, real impact
There is a philosophy that runs through our work called The 1% Way. It is the belief that small, consistent actions compound over time into something far greater than the sum of their parts. A morning tea is a small thing on its own. A slice of cake, a cup of tea, a gold coin in the tin. Put it all together, across workplaces and kitchen tables right around the country, and it becomes meaningful funding for research and support that changes lives.
That idea is exactly why our team loves these moments. Everyone can contribute something, and every contribution counts. It is generosity in action, and it is a lovely reminder that the same approach we bring to building wealth and confidence for our clients applies just as well to building a stronger community.
