We’re proud to share that our team at 360 ONE, the accountants and advisors based in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, has been named Practice of the Year in Victoria by the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). It has been a wonderful year for recognition. Soto Group, our brand and digital partner, also won 3 awards at the Web Excellence Awards 2026 for our new website for the following categories: Accessible Design, Business and Financial Services.
The IPA award also places us in the running for National Practice of the Year, with national winners announced in November. Many people in our community will know us by our former name, Devenny Payne, and we’re thrilled to share this news with clients who have been part of our story for many years.
We see every one of these awards as a shared win. They belong to our team, to the clients who trust us with their businesses and families, and to the partners we build with every day.
What was recognised in 2026?
In 2026, 360 ONE and our website were recognised by 2 independent awards:
- Practice of the Year in Victoria, IPA Member Awards 2026, awarded to 360 ONE
- Accessible Design, Web Excellence Awards 2026, awarded to Soto Group for the 360 ONE website
- Business and Financial Services, Web Excellence Awards 2026, awarded to Soto Group for the 360 ONE website
Together, these awards recognise both the practice itself and the experience our clients have when they first connect with us.
IPA Practice of the Year in Victoria
The Institute of Public Accountants named 360 ONE Practice of the Year in Victoria at the IPA Member Awards 2026. This is such a proud moment for our team and they really deserve the recognition. This award reflects the care everyone at 360 ONE brings to the advice we give, the relationships we build and the experience every client has with us. We’re truly honoured to be taking home such a prestigious accolade!
For us, this award recognises the relationships we have built with clients since March 2007, the team members who have grown with us over that time, and the steady improvements we have made to how we deliver advice and support. Every client conversation, every plan we have helped put in place and every family we have walked alongside has played a part in reaching this moment. We believed that applying the 1% way to our clients businesses, and more generally in the accounting sector would make a difference. This really shows it has.
This award also arrives at an exciting time in our story. In 2026 we stepped forward as 360 ONE, and this recognition is a meaningful reminder that the values our clients have always known us for continue to guide everything we do. While we nominated under our name of 360 ONE, many of our clients and community have known us as Devenny Payne. We see this as a celebration of what we have built together under the Devenny Payne banner. We carry it forward into the next stage of 360 ONE by continuing to raise the standard for the clients and communities we serve.
Credibility through the Institute of Public Accountants
The Institute of Public Accountants or IPA was founded in Melbourne in 1923 and is one of Australia’s 3 legally recognised professional accounting bodies, alongside CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Its members work across public practice, industry, government and academia, with ongoing education and professional standards at the heart of membership.
With a vision for every small business to have an IPA member by its side, the IPA has a strong focus on small and medium businesses. That focus sits very close to our own work. Our clients are business owners, families and individuals building something for the long term, so recognition from a body that champions this part of the economy carries real weight for us.
As IPA members, our team draws on its technical resources, legislative updates and continuing education throughout the year. We are also a Xero Platinum Partner, the highest tier of Xero’s partner program, which means our clients benefit from deep experience with cloud accounting and faster answers when they need them. That support helps keep our advice current, so the guidance you receive reflects the latest rules and the best thinking in the profession.
We see this award as recognition of what we have built together through decades.
Relationships across generations
Our client relationships often span generations within the one family. We have worked alongside grandparents, parents and now their children, supporting them through first business setups, years of growth, and the transitions that come with succession and retirement.
That continuity shapes the quality of our advice. Your advisor knows your history, understands how your business and family finances connect, and can see how a decision made today may affect the next generation. Every conversation picks up where the last one left off, so your time goes into planning what comes next.
A team that grows with the practice
Several of our partners and shareholders began their careers here in work experience and administration roles. Over time, they built their skills alongside our senior team, grew into partnership, and today they help lead the practice they first joined as newcomers.
That path reflects how we invest in our people, and our clients benefit from it every day. Our strong team retention gives you the same trusted faces year after year, with advisors who know your file well and stay with you as your needs change.
The 1% Way in practice
The 1% Way shapes how we work each day, with our clients and within our own practice. We look for one small, practical improvement at a time, such as reviewing margins each quarter, adjusting the timing of a payment or tidying one entity in a group structure.
Each step is manageable on its own, and each one builds on the last. Over months and years, those steps compound into results you can measure: stronger cash flow, a clearer structure and more confidence in the decisions ahead. We apply the same thinking to our own systems and processes, and it has played a big part in how the practice has grown.
We’re Up for National Practice of the Year!
Now that we have taken out the top spot as Practice of the Year in Victoria, 360 ONE is now in the running for National Practice of the Year. The IPA will be announcing national winners in November 2026, so keep your fingers and toes crossed for us!
We are proud to take home the state award, but reaching the national stage is something we didn’t even know was possible. This is more than an exciting milestone moment for our team, it is a moment for us all to take stock of our achievements, and see our value through the eyes of experts.
Our brand and marketing partner Soto Group we’re heartily encouraging us to apply for the award. They saw something in ourselves we knew existed, but hadn’t given the time to take stock of it until this point.
Web Excellence Awards 2026
On top of the IPA State Award, we found out that the 360 ONE website has earned three Web Excellence Awards! Our brand and digital partner, Soto Group had requested permission to submit the website as their showcase for the year, and much to their and our surprise, we collectively were awarded for the features of Accessible Design and in both the Business category and Financial Services category.
The site launched on 19 June 2026 alongside our new brand, and seeing it recognised amongst some of the best websites globally, is a monumental moment for everyone who helped bring it to life.
Why accessible website design matters
Accessible website design means creating a site that more people can read, navigate and use with ease. For us, it connects directly to one of our core values, Knowledge and Empowerment. We believe in sharing what we know openly and clearly, so every client can make confident decisions about their money and their future.
Clear communication has always been part of how we work, and our website is an extension of that promise. For many people, the website is their very first conversation with us, and we want that first conversation to feel easy, welcoming and useful.
When we decided to step forward as 360 ONE, we wanted a partner who would take the time to understand us first. Soto Group did exactly that, and it made a real difference to how the whole project felt. Every idea they brought to the table came back to something we had told them, whether that was the families we have looked after for generations, the language we use with clients, or the way our services connect.
Soto Group understood how much clarity matters to us and our clients, and they made it central to the design. Strong contrast, clear headings, simple navigation and straight forward language all work together, so more people can read the site comfortably and find what they need with ease.
That shared understanding shaped everything, from our new name and brand through to the website. The result feels like us and is clear, warm, accessible and focused on the people we look after.
The Journey
When we planned the website with Soto Group, we started with a simple question our clients often ask, which is where do I begin? The answer became the heart of the site. You can browse by life stage (starting, growing or planning ahead) and every service is only a click away.
Each stage brings the right advice into focus. New sole traders can start with structure and well organised books, growing businesses can explore cash flow and tax planning, and anyone planning ahead can find succession and estate support. Our 5 divisions sit behind every page: 360 ONE Advisory, 360 ONE Accounting, 360 ONE Bookkeeping, 360 ONE Wealth and 360 ONE Succession.

What do these awards mean for our clients?
Through the award vetting process we had to submit information about what we do, who we are and why we matter. Thinking about our business in that way, really helped us see that we’re just like the clients we work with every day. It’s one thing to just think you provide exceptional service, it’s another to have to prove it.
Choosing an accountant is a big decision, and it’s comforting to know that people outside our office have taken a close look at how we work, how we look after our clients and how we share what we know, and they liked what they saw.
In everyday terms, it means you’ll be working with accountants and business advisors in Melbourne’s west who see the whole picture. Your tax, your business structure, your wealth and your plans for the future all get looked at together, because that’s how life works. And when something important comes up, you can pick up the phone and talk it through with someone senior who already knows your story.
It also means you can ask us anything. Big questions, small questions, the ones you’ve been putting off asking for years. We’ll explain things in plain terms, help you work out the next step, and be right there with you as those small steps start adding up over time.
Thank you to everyone who shares these wins
Every one of these moments belongs to the people around us. To our team, thank you for the care and thought you put into every client conversation, every plan and every late afternoon spent getting the details right. And to our clients, thank you for trusting us with your businesses, your families and your plans for the future. Many of you have been with us for a long time, and this recognition is as much yours as it is ours.
We’d also like to thank Soto Group, our partner in this next chapter. Working together has felt a lot like the way we work with our own clients: steady, collaborative and focused on the long term, and we’re excited to keep building the 360 ONE brand with them. If you’d like to see the project from their side, you can read about how Soto Group approached our new website.
