Kathryn (Kath) brings over 30 years of experience and perspective to her role, shaped by a career built through steady progress, curiosity, and hands on leadership. Her journey reflects the belief that meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight, it’s built one degree, one lesson, and one percent at a time.
Rather than following a traditional pathway, Kath began her career in administration at a large medical centre, gradually expanding her responsibilities into bookkeeping and practice management. Along the way, she supported medical practices across the Central Highlands, helped teams adapt to new accreditation standards, completed a Business Studies degree while raising a young family, and contributed to family business, school governance, and community organisations.
Since joining Devenny Payne in 2012, Kath has supported a wide range of business clients, managed complex bookkeeping functions, worked closely with offshore teams, and now leads the firm as Practice Manager. She has seen businesses from every angle, administration, finance, compliance, systems, people, and leadership, giving her a genuine 360° understanding of how organisations operate and evolve.
Kath is known for her calm guidance, practical mindset, and deep respect for every business she works with. She helps our team and clients move forward with confidence, knowing that even the biggest transformations begin with small, deliberate steps.
